Sponsors, Partners and Links
The Yorkshire Arboretum and Ray Wood are managed and maintained by the Castle Howard Arboretum Trust, established as a registered charity in 1996 for this purpose. With grand ambitions and limited funds we have always had to seek external funding and, over the years, many institutions, corporations and individuals have generously supported us, enabling us to achieve our aims of Inspiration, Education and Conservation.
On this page we gratefully acknowledge our current supporters, sincerely thanking them, and several others who wish to remain anonymous, for their generous contributions.
Organisations that have supported us in various way:
Buglife UK The Invertebrate Conservation Trust is the only organisation in Europe devoted to the conservation of all invertebrates. They supported the development of the wildflower meadows as part of the B-lines project LINK and sponsored a leaflet about them with funding from the SITA Trust.
SITA UK an ethical funding organisation dedicated to making lasting improvements to the natural environment and community life.
The Peter Sowerby Foundation supports medical research and healthcare provision, education, and community and the environment. They sponsored the creation of the arboretum's geographical information system and interactive map.
Our corporate sponsors support our work in return for corporate membership benefits.
