Bob and Christine Pietrowski’s modest village garden was redesigned in 2015 with views of Castle Howard. Formal borders are block planted with herbaceous perennials and roses, which are at their best in late summer, and four raised beds are used to grow annuals for cutting. Pots are used for extra colour and to house an ever-increasing collection of hostas.
