Arboretum Director John Grimshaw’s cottage garden planted with a diversity of perennials and bulbs so that there is always colour and interest until peak flowering is reached in September. The garden is also home to Silver Sebright bantams and Lady Amherst’s pheasants.

Location: Settrington, Malton YO17 8NT. Turn to Kirkhill in the ‘hidden dip’ on the Grimston Lane between Settrington and North Grimston. Follow the farm track to the first house.
